A real Thicket project with message board, to-dos, docs and files, schedule, boards, and chat on one screen
A real Thicket project. Canadian-owned and built by Jason for small teams.
  • The plan, the discussion, and the files stay together
  • Project health flags show which projects need attention
  • Clients see only what you choose to share
  • Every plan includes every tool

From scattered work to one clear project

Most small teams do not need heavier project software. They need the plan, discussion, files, and deadlines in one place.

Before Thicket

  • The plan lives in one app, the discussion in another, the files in a third.
  • Finding out where something stands takes three tabs and a status meeting.
  • Deadlines slip because due dates and progress are not visible in one place.
  • Every update has to be chased, and every chase interrupts someone.

After Thicket

  • Each project keeps its tasks, discussions, docs, files, and schedule together.
  • Anyone can open a project and see where things stand, no meeting required.
  • Owners, due dates, and progress are visible before a deadline slips.
  • Fewer “where are we?” messages, fewer status meetings, and a calmer week for everyone.

Six tools, together in every project

Messages, to-dos, docs, schedules, boards, and chat are ready from the start, without stitching together separate apps.

Message board

Updates, decisions, and feedback stay attached to the project instead of buried in inboxes.

Instead of a separate email thread

To-dos

Lists with owners and due dates, so who is doing what by when is never a mystery.

Can replace a separate task tracker

Docs & files

Notes, plans, and deliverables live where the team actually works, with the latest version obvious.

Can replace a separate project wiki or file drop

Schedule

Due dates, milestones, and events on one calendar the whole project can see.

Instead of another project calendar

Boards

Kanban-style cards that move through columns when the work is a pipeline, not a list.

Can replace a separate kanban board

Chat

Group chat per project plus direct messages, so quick questions stay next to the work.

Can replace a separate chat channel for project work

For 10 people, entry-level paid plans from Slack, Asana, Dropbox, and Google Workspace total about $486/month Thicket keeps the project-work jobs shown here together for $49/month flat. Those suites include other features Thicket does not. See the full breakdown

  • Automatic check-ins that ask recurring questions and collect every answer in one thread
  • Client access with approvals, scoped to exactly what you choose to share
  • Progress charts and health flags: On track, At risk, Off track
  • Search, notifications, @-mentions, and project templates

The questions your team asks, answered on screen

Home

What's happening across all our projects?

Home shows every project with its people and latest activity, so the day starts with one look instead of five app tabs.

Project overview

Where does this project stand?

Each project puts its six tools, health flag, and recent activity on one screen. Open it to see whether the project is on track.

To-dos

Who's doing what, by when?

To-do lists carry owners, due dates, and progress, so the answer is written down instead of asked in chat.

Client access

Can the client see this?

Clients get a scoped view of their own project and nothing else. You always know what is shared, and approvals go on the record.

A note from the founder

Hi, I'm Jason. I run the small software company that makes Thicket, and we run the whole company on it. Our product work, marketing, company plans, and even my family's projects live here. When something gets in the way, it gets in our way too.

Thicket stays simple on purpose. There are no Gantt charts, no automations, and no custom dashboards. That is the point: nothing to configure, nothing to babysit, no admin role to grow into. If your projects genuinely need those things, Thicket is the wrong tool, and I'd rather tell you that now.

Start with the free plan. If you have a question, write to support@thickethq.com. We reply within one day, often much sooner.
